about SPFHS SMAC chapter
The Student Movement Against Cancer was started in 2001 by a group of friends, at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, who were looking for a way to provide support to a friend that had just been diagnosed with cancer. These students set the framework for this successful club that focuses on providing education on cancer detection, prevention and treatments along with fundraising for the cause.
